According to reports, Arsenal have made a bid of £43million for Germany and Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler. Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger is thought to be an admirer of the Germany international winger and was linked with a move to North London last summer.
The German international, was at Schalke, and then went on to join Wolfsburg in a club-record deal worth about £30million.
Draxler enjoyed an impressive debut season at the Wolfsburg, scoring 8 goals in 31 games.
Draxler, 22, was part of Germany’s Euro 2016 squad and played in five of their games before being knocked out of the tournament by host France at the semi-final stage.
According to ESPN, the Gunners are now plotting to make a fresh move for Germany star Draxler and, are ready to table a huge £43m bid.
Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger has signed Swiss international midfielder Granit Xhaka and Japanese forward Takuma Asano already this summer.
But it’s believed that Wenger wants to sign an attacker and the skilful Draxler could be a perfect fit for Arsenal.
