Reports making the round claims Arsenal have made an approach for PSV Eindhoven over a potential deal for Hirving Lozano.
Lozano was hugely impressive for Mexico in the group stage of the showpiece tournament in Russia.
He netted a fine winner in their opening victory over Germany and his performances have attracted plenty of interest.
And Transfermarketweb say Arsenal are keen to make Lozano following his impressive performance at the World Cup in Russia.
The report claims sources from the Gunner have revealed new manager Unai Emery has stepped up his interest in signing the 22-year-old winger from Mexico.
Lozano is under contract with PSV until the summer of 2023, and reports that emerged in the fall indicated he has a release clause set at £30 million ($40m).
While PSV would love to have Lozano back, a sale is a possibility with the club transitioning to a new era. Phillip Cocu has left to manage in Turkey with Mark van Bommel taking over.
Arsenal will have to act fast as Barcelona, Juventus are also interested in his signature, other English teams have shown interested with the likes of Everton and Liverpool have made enquiries for his services.
