According to reports, Arsenal has made an enquiry about the availability of another player from the German Bundesliga, by name Neven Subotic.
The Gunners have made contact with Borussia Dortmund about the potential signing of Neven Subotic, as reported by Italian football journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The 27-year-old, recently disclosed his desire to leave the Bundesliga club for more first team action through a post on his official facebook page after fallen out of favour under current boss Thomas Tuchel.
According to rumours, the German club Dortmund are thought to have slashed a price tag of about $32.1 million on Subotic which Arsenal are now set to match.
Subotic’s agent Frieder Gramm has moved to make the situation clear to the public, with Subotic eager to leave Dortmund for more playing time.
The Sun quoted his agent Gramm as saying “Currently it does not look like he will get more game time in the upcoming season. But he absolutely wants to play, and does not want to earn his money on the bench. We are currently scouting the market.”
