Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has been urged to hasten his purported move to Arsenal this summer by countryman Mark Bosnic, who is a rumoured to be a £8 million target of Arsenal.
Rogic has been a revelation this season at Celtic and was so impressive in the friendly game between Australia and England last weekend which has reignited the reports of him joining Arsene Wenger’s side this summer. At 23, Rogic is one seen as a developing talent who will become a world class in no distant time.
Bosnic had this to say to the Daily Express about the midfielder, ” You don’t know until you get there (if the move will suit you personally) but the type of football they play suits Rogic.”
“Let’s not kid ourselves and be brutally honest, if he went there, the man in front of him is Mesut Ozil. However , what a man to learn from , that would be fantastic.”
“It makes it better, you feel 10 foot tall. They’re rumours and you have them through your career, good and bad.”
“They’re just rumours at the moment, they haven’t been verified by either side, but it’s still great news to be linked.”
“In my opinion, he deserves it. He packed himself off abroad and worked very hard.”
“It’s always good to watch him. He just needs to make sure he can do what he did for 15, 20 minutes in the first half (against England) and do it for a bit longer,
that’s the key.”
“I thought they would’ve been impressed, especially in the first-half, but they would’ve marked down: want it done for longer period.”
