If reports emanting from the German media are anything to go by, then Arsenal are set to complete what will be their biggest transfer business so far this summer. Arsenal have already signed Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach and only on Sunday announced the signing of young Japanese striker Takuma Asano from a Japanese club.
Now the Gunners are said to have reached agreed with Bayern Munich for the signing of Mario Gotze. According to reports, a 30 million has been accepted by the German from Arsenal for the signature of Mario Gotze. Gotze is said to be surplus to requirement at Bayern Munich after Bayern signed Renato Sanches in a big money deal from Benfica of Portugual.
Gotze was linked with a move back to Dortmund but according to reports, Dortmund are not interested in having him back at the club. And Liverpool who have also been linked is not interesting to Gotze according to reports. The world cup winner is said not to be keen on signing for a club that is not playing in the Champions League.
Arsenal are said to have taken advantage of this and have now reached an agree with Bayer Munich and will open discussion with Gotze himself once the Euro 2016 Championship is over.
