Arsenal are surely in need of a striker this summer and have been linked with so many of them in the last few weeks. But in one of the most bizarre transfer news surrounding the Gunners this summer, London club West Ham have been linked with a move for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
It is understandable why West ham desire the services of Arsenal striker Oliver Giroud. Despite his goal drought for Arsenal at the tail end of last season, his return is still pretty commendable and he’s been good for the French National team at the on-going European championship, scoring 3 goals and assisting two.
In case you are wondering where the news emanated from? Twitter, which says about how genuine the news could be. Twitter has been an amazing avenue for titbits that lead to a larger story or more reliable source but it can also be the beginning of countless dead ends.
I doubt its geniuses and even if it was, I am quite sure Oliver Giroud will not be going to London rival West Ham. Must say with due respect that a move to West ham would be a step down for the striker in both quality and wages.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given no indication that he’d be hoping to sell the 29-year-old striker, as Giroud seem to be glad staying in Arsenal.
