North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with summer moves for £24.5m rated hotshot Dries Mertens.
The 31-year-old has bagged 46 goals in his last 72 Serie A outings for Napoli and has been linked with a move away for the last 12 months.
Due to a clause in his contract, Mertens is available for the reasonably modest figure of £24.5m and Napoli are bracing themselves for summer interest.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of the forward, who can play through the middle of down the wings, but Arsenal and Spurs are now reportedly leading the chase.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport both clubs are keeping close tabs on the situation with the opening of the transfer window imminent.
Mertens arrived at Napoli from PSV back in 2013 and remains under contract until 2020.
