Arsene Wenger has received most of the flaks for Arsenal inadequacies in the summer transfer market thus far, but the Wenger has in the past few days matched his words with action, with the signing of Lucas Perez and Shkodran.
Arsenal’s failure in the market has made fans grow furious and disappointed. The Gunners were expected to build on the signing of Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka with the addition of more top notch players, but they have only been able to bring in the budding Rob Holding and Takuma Asano – who can not even play in the Premier League for failure to secure a work permit.
Nonetheless, Asano has been sent on a season-long loan deal with VFB Stuttgart, where he will be able to play regularly and develope.
The youngster starred for his country at the Olympics where he scored two goals. He returned to Arsenal before completing the move with German club Stuttgart.
He was all smiles with Arsene Wenger and Mohamed Elneny as Arsenal prepared for the Watford game.
