Currently the longest serving Arsenal player, Theo Walcott has been making waves with his fine form in front of goal, and Arsene Wenger claims to know the reason behind the player’s resurgence.
Walcott, 27, has scored seven goals in nine appearances for Arsenal this term. He was a fringe player for Arsenal last term and managed to end the season with just five goals last term.
He was even left out of the Three Lion’s Euro 2016 squad by Roy Hudgson. However, we have seen a rejuvenated attacker this term.
Ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League fixture against Ludogorets, the Arsenal boss said: “He lets the passion come out of his body.
“He plays with more freedom, lets his heart feelings come out.
“He is less calculating. He plays with more desire. He is less restricted.”
Wenger doesn’t like to rotate his squad in other to maintain the rhythm, so we are sure to see Walcott play tonight.
