Following Arsenal somewhat good form this term, the club have been receiving commendations from all quarters.
Former Barcelona star Xavi claims there is something unique about this Arsenal and he has indulge the club not to feel timid against any other European team.
The Gunners have developed an unwanted reputation of playing attractive and fluid football against lesser opposition but struggling to make any impact when featuring against the top sides in Europe.
Arsene Wenger’s side have however shown more resilience and fight this season and despite losing to Everton in midweek, the Gunners are third in the league and firmly in the chasing pack behind leaders Chelsea.
Xavi has faced Arsenal on a number of occasions with Barcelona in the Champions League which usually ended with the Catalans getting the better of the English side.
But the former Spain international believes that Arsenal are packing an extra bit of quality this campaign that could see the team push on that little more in the race for silverware.
Xavi said, as reported by Goal: “I have always respected the way Arsenal play football but this season there is something different about them, they have that extra bit of quality and determination.
“It is a long season but with the team they have, they shouldn’t fear any team in England or in Europe.”
