Arsenal moved up two places to third position on the Premier League table and it was the second half performance that sealed the victory.
The Gunners led 1-0 at half-time thanks to an Olivier Giroud strike, and scored three goals after the break through Alexis Sanchez and two own goals.
Iwobi admitted Swansea made the visitors work hard in the first half, but the Nigerian said Wenger’s instruction during the interval to move the ball quicker paid dividends.
The 20-year-old said: ‘The boss got into us a bit saying we know we can do better, just keep on moving the ball quickly, as fast as we can.
‘In the second half we showed our quality and were able to get the three points.
‘Swansea gave us a difficult start, they pressed us really well and they also kept the ball and were on the front foot.
‘It was a great performance from us and at the end of the day we were able to get the three points.’
Iwobi played a key role in the Gunners’ victory in Wales, with both own goals a result of shots from the emerging forward.
