Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made known his delight on the progress of Arsenal’s German youth International Serge Gnabry. The German youth international who has been scoring from all angles for the Arsenal under 21 team got his first team broke through as a result of injuries to key first team players such as Theo Walcott, Lukas Podolski and the likes.
The German scored Arsenal’s first goal in the away victory against Swansea city Fc yesterday.
In regards to the wonderful performance of the German international, Wenger said: “He is surprising. He has the talent but the personality on the pitch as well. He doesn’t look timid, he looks to play with belief and of course talent. Unfortunately he is another player for Germany, he’s not English.
“He was one year old (when Wenger arrived at Arsenal). I can’t believe it. Now I have some players in my squad who were not born when I arrived at Arsenal.”
