The tale of Arsenal’s transfer market indolence is one that every Arsenal fans is yet struggling to understand. Wenger keeps insisting that they are finding players with the right quality to buy and if you check the recent signings, you can argue that there better and available players out there.
Arsenal have been on the chase of Valencia’s Shkodran Mustafi since the “beginning of the world”, and for the first time, Wenger has admitted that the club is currently in talks with the Los Che for a deal for the defender.
Speaking to French channel SFR Sport on Saturday, the Gunners boss confirmed his interest in finalising the signing of at least one new player soon.
“Mustafi? We hope it will be done. We are struggling to find the players we need.” Wenger said “He is one of a number of players we are looking at it. Negotiations are ongoing.”
With just Koscielny as the only reliable centre back, Wenger is compelled to sign as the title race will be an illusion for us.
Reports have stated that Los Che are holding out for 50million Pounds, which is even above his release clause but reliable sources have said that 35million pounds will see the deal done.
