Arsenal have been drawn into the most protracted transfer saga in the history of the club.
Valencia’s centre back Shkodran Mustafi has been on the radar of Arsenal and it appears that all is now set for the player’s transfer to Arsenal to be complete, with reports claiming that his father revealing that talks are ongoing.
Arsenal lost two Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista to injuries and have been on the lookout for reinforcements. Musfati has been atop the defensive target for Arsenal.

Last week, there were reports that Mustafi had agreed personal terms to Arsenal and that the deal was subject to a transfer fee agreement between Arsenal and the Los Che. However, the deal has failed to materialized hitherto.
Quizzed about the current state of the deal, Mustafi father said
“Very soon you will know about the future of Mustafi. Two or more clubs are in negotiations,” he told Goal.
Arsenal are keenly interested in the player and I am sure we are among the two or more clubs mentioned by the player’s father.
