Welcome to the Emirates! James Rodriguez’s agent confirms shock move

The January transfer window will be opened in matter of days and we expect to see the transfer of some players away from the Emirates.

James Rodriguez, the £63million Real Madrid midfielder who has fallen down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Premier League.

The board of Real Madrid are currently unhappy with the South American over his continuous spat with them.

However, despite growing discontent, James’ agent Jorge Mendes has ruled out a winter switch ‘James will not be leaving Madrid in January,’ he told AS.

After struggling to impress former Real boss Rafa Benitez, James has found himself resigned to the bench once more under Zinedine Zidane and hit out after playing no part in the triumph over Kashima Antlers to win the FIFA Club World Cup final.

‘I can’t assure I will stay at Real Madrid,’ he said ‘I have offers and seven days left to think about my future…….

‘I am happy in Madrid, but I want to play more. I have a bitter feeling as I wanted to play the final, but I am happy for the title. It’s the 15th title of my career.’

  1. Ozil is one of the most talented play maker in Europe possibly the world over , but he seems to be unhappy at arsenal . he never give 100% on the field . He is demanding an unacceptable pay rise and repeatedly saying he wanted to go back to Real Madrid . Arsenal will not be able to pay £63million to Real Madrid to get James Rodriguez .Real Madrid will be more than happy to swap James Rodriguez for
Ozil . It will be a sort of a loss for Arsenal but it is better than keeping Ozil unhappy and hence inconsistent and may leave for free at the end on next season .
