We Want To Beat Manchester United – Aaron Ramsey

Kieran GibbsArsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey believes the Gunners are in the best possible shape to get the better of current EPL champions, Manchester United. The in-form Arsenal travel to Old trafford this weekend for Sunday’s big clash on the back of impressive wins against Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund that keeps them at the top of the EPL log and their UCL group.

Much of this good spell has been down to the performances of Aaron Ramsey, who has started the season like a house on fire with 11 goals and 5 assists and the Welshman believes the time is right for a victory in Manchester.

“It is going to be another massive game – this was always going to be a big week for us and we couldn’t have got off to a better start. Hopefully now we can go to Old Trafford and finish the job off,” the Wales international said.

“It would be massive [to beat United]. We are feeling really confident at the moment and we’re in good form in the league, so why not go there and win?

“They have had a bit of a rough start but they have overcome that now I think. They’ve had a few good results in the league and will be getting their confidence back up, but we are really confident ourselves. Our away record has been really good so hopefully we can continue building on that.

“We have struggled [at Old Trafford] over the last few seasons, so hopefully now that we feel a lot more confident this will be the time when we do manage to do it.

There’s no one in the Arsenal squad best suited to talk about a win at Old Trafford than Aaron Ramsey, and another inspired performance from the 22-year old would be the icing on the cake just before the international break.
