Arsenal star striker Alexis Sanchez has declared that he is fit and roaring to play against Manchester United this weekend, by scoring two brilliant goals for his country on Tuesday night.
Arsene Wenger and the Chile’s coach were imvolved in an altercation when it was reported that Sanchez was involved in training while recovering from a hamstring injury.
Nonetheless, the manager of Chile’s national team Juan Antonio Pizzi had claimed that the striker was well and that he was in no way endangering the health or career of the player.
The Gunners star had a big hand in Eduardo Vargas’ equaliser against Uruguay before finding the net himself in the second-half…twice!
Ahead of the game, Chile boss Pizzi said: ‘At no time we have received pressure from any club. Not Arsenal or Bayern,’ he said.
‘The health of the players is paramount, we are very responsible.
‘We do not risk to anyone who is not in a position to play.’
