Last summer, Arsene Wenger bolstered his squad and we saw players added from the defense to the attack of the team.
The 28-year-old has done well in limited appearances for the Gunners, but has supposedly decided he’d like to move on as he wants a real stab at making Spain’s 2018 World Cup squad.
Perez was a key player at previous club Deportivo La Coruna, but has made only two starts in the Premier League since a late summer transfer move to Arsenal.
Wenger has a number of quality attacking players ahead of the Spaniard at the moment, with the form of players like Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Iwobi keeping Perez out of the side.
According to Goal, Perez is growing restless at the Emirates Stadium and could look to leave north London at the end of the season.
Perez has made no secret of his desire to break into the team more, saying: ‘Of course, I’d have liked to spend longer on the pitch but we have a big squad and some great players here at Arsenal.
‘Selection is the job of the manager. He does what’s best for the team. Of course, Arsenal has many great players.
‘The only thing you can do is work hard and wait for your chance to play. You don’t have a choice.’
