Given Arsene Wenger’s frugality in the previous transfer market, Arsenal get linked to virtually all available players in the transfer market.
However, PSG new boy and former Arsenal prime target Julian Draxler has lift the lid on why he chose the French Champions over Arsenal.
The Ligue 1 giants announced on Tuesday that the 23-year-old attacking midfielder had signed a four-year deal at the Parc des Princes after completing a move from Wolfsburg.
Report, suggest Draxler was ‘hesitating’ between the Gunners and PSG ahead of the January transfer window but the German World Cup winner has now explained why he eventually chose to join the French champions.
‘It is with great joy and anticipation that I join Paris Saint-Germain,’ Draxler said after signing his contract in the French capital.
‘For the first time in my career, I’m going to discover a new country, a new league, and I’m very proud to take this new step at a club which has become a benchmark in Europe and has signed a lot of great players in recent years.
‘I will do everything to help PSG win new trophies and continue to grow internationally.’…
