The recent performance of Arsenal has led the Alexis Sanchez’s reaction and many think the player is unhappy with the below par performance of his team mates.
However, Thierry Henry has lent his support to the Chilean who reacted to Arsenal’s draw against Bournemouth.
The Chile international has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium after failing to agree a new contract, and he only fuelled that speculation even more with something of a strop at the end of the Bournemouth game.
Arsenal managed to fight back from 3-0 down to claim a draw at the Vitality Stadium, but Henry understands Sanchez’s frustrations at only coming away with a point.
‘Some people are worried that Alexis Sanchez’s reaction to drawing at Bournemouth means he wants out of Arsenal,’ Henry wrote in The Sun.
‘Not necessarily. That’s just the reaction of a winner.
‘If I was playing with him, I would be happy to see that. That shows he will fight alongside me – and I can go to war with him.
‘I was doing the same when we lost. It might upset people but deal with it. It shows he cares. So did his spat with Aaron Ramsey during the game.
‘As a team-mate, you want to see that passion. You think OK, he’s up for the fight, I’ll fight too. People follow a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve.’
