Tottenham Management Angry At Real Madrid Over Ozil Sale To Arsenal

Tottenham’s management have reacted angrily to Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil. The player’s transfer to Tottenh was said to have been thrown up by Daniel Levy when discussing the transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid but he was outrightly told the player was not for sale. However, on the very last day of the transfer window, the player was sold to Arsenal for 42.5 million pounds. This deal has now made Tottenham management angry.

As a result of this, Tottenham’s management are reconsidering their partnership with Real Madrid. It would be recall that Tottenham made an agreement with Real Madrid when they were selling Modric to Madrid. This agreement was to make it easier for both clubs to exchange players, coaching ideas and the likes but with sale of Ozil to Arsenal after Tottenham made an attempt, the fans have asked their club to reconsider the said agreement.

“Gareth was a player we had absolutely no intention of selling,” said Levy. “Such has been the attention from Real Madrid and so great is Gareth’s desire to join them, that we have taken the view that the player will not be sufficiently committed to our campaign in the current season.”

Tottenham fans this week launched an online petition demanding an end to the partnership, stating “Since we have agreed to form the partnership, Real Madrid C.F. have treated us and our players without respect including “tapping” up Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.

“The transfer of Mezut Ozil to our top rivals in order to recoup money spent on Gareth Bale is the ultimate duplicitous action and we deserve a fair and mutual exchange between clubs rather than being treated as a feeder club.”

Funny old scums down the lane won’t stop been jealous. Forever in our shadows.

  1. If Tothenham’s management and fans are not deluded, then they must not expect Ozil to join a Europa league team. This is dishonesty at the highest level and neither should they expect Bale to continue playing at a second rate team

  2. Poor old spuds who is always looking up to us and i am sure this season will be the same they have spent 110.million pounds yet we only spend 42.4 million yet they are still jealous its a shame they dont want us to get any players in they want to beat us with one arm tied behind our backs they are afraid come mid season AVB will be gone because he cant deliver then your whole world will come tumbling down

  3. If tottenham management are angry, they should go to hell and burn into ashes because arsenal has done nothing to them, ozil deserves a bigger club than engaging himself with a club which their mission is impossible. Arsene thank you for signing ozil but we still need CD and CF maybe ashley williams and lius suarez will be better comes january transfer window.

  4. If this is true then it shows what a small and shit club spurs are. If you just got a world record fee for Bale and spent over 100 million on new players and you are still moaning about Madrid balancing there books by selling 1 player to your rivals then that says everything about them as a club. Also what did they think was going to happen when they set up this partnership with Madrid? Are they honestly saying they thought they would have power over Madrid by telling them which one of there players they can sell and which clubs they go to? I think Spurs need to manage there expectations a little bit better
