Arsenal will host PSG in the Champions League tomorrow in a match dubbed as the battle for first position in Champions League group A.
Speaking ahead of the game, Arsene Wenger has delivered a good and bad injury update concerning Alexis Sanchez, Lucas Perez and Santi Cazorla.
“He has recovered completely,” he said. “I never forced in my whole life a player to play.
“Suggestions we forced him to play are wrong.
“We left Walcott and Ramsey [out of training] for recovery. They should be alright.
“Lucas Perez is back training, just not with the squad.
“He is ahead of schedule.”
However, Wenger admitted long-term injury worry Santi Cazorla is nowhere near being fit, claiming he’s given up on the Spain international.
“At the moment I have given up a little bit on that,” he added.
“I don’t know how far he is.
“He is still not in full-time training.”
