Sokratis, Monreal, Elneny, Koscielny – Latest Arsenal injury news and expected return dates

Arsenal are back in action on Thursday night against Sporting CP in the Europa League.

Heading into the fixture on the back of a 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions, head coach Unai Emery will be hoping a number of players can return to action as the Gunners look to seal a place in the knockout stages.

Much has changed for the north London outfit in recent months. Emery handed a tough baptism of fire as he began life in English football with back-to-back defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea.

However, the Gunners have bounced back from those losses in some style. They put together an impressive 11-game winning run, which came to an end against Crystal Palace just three days after beating Sporting in the reverse meeting at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.

Danny Welbeck’s late goal allowed Arsenal to seize total control of Group E and a repeat of the 1-0 score-line will allow Emery’s side to progress with two games to spare.

With that said, all eyes will be on which starting XI Emery will select in an attempt to stretch their unbeaten run across all competitions to 14 games and the Spanish tactician has a near full strength squad to choose from.
