There’s some good news in the transfer news this morning for Arsenal.
Probably the most torturous transfer deal Arsenal have been involved over several decade, Shkodran Mustafi has been linked with a move to Arsenal with reports claiming he had agreed personal terms with Arsenal but no confirmation of the till hitherto.
However, it appears that the wait is over with reports according to Marca via Sportwitness, claiming that Mustafi is on the exit ramp of Valencia and will be on his way out of Spain in the coming hours. The player seem to have completed the transfer to Arsenal.
Roberto Soriano who just signed for Villarreal from Sampdoria, and he’s friends with Mustafi, revealed that he had hoped that Mustafi would help me adapt to live in Spain and the La Liga.
Marca quote the midfielder as saying: “I was hoping Mustafi would help me adapt to life in Spain… and now he goes.”
According to an Arsenal Enthusiast and journalist, Arsenal will complete the deal against the reports that the Gunners have back out of the deal.
SkySports understand Mustafi is edging closer to #AFC – fee around £28m.”
The figure of a possible €33m move, as Marca say has been reported in England, is felt to be enough for Valencia. But Arsenal actually have to offer that, or something close enough, for this to move forward.
