Last season saw the emergence Nigerian international youngster Alex Iwobi as rising star for Arsenal, and the 20-year-old has gone on to cement his place in the starting XI of Arsenal.
Iwobi can play in any of the flanks or even behind the striker. He offers strength, calmness, skills, speed and creativity to our attack. He already has three assist this term.
The youngster has received tones of praise from fans and pundits but he seem determined to improve his game.
“I want to keep being consistent in my performance,” Iwobi told Skysports
“I believe I’m doing well so far but you are only as good as your last performance. Each game I’m trying to prove to the world and to myself that I can maintain that level of performance.
“The more I’m progressing I’m looking at what’s ahead and what I need to do to reach my goals and targets. I don’t have time to reflect on the past, I’m trying to prepare for the future.”
Arsenal will host Swansea City this weekend and Iwobi is most-likely to start.
