Manchester United will be without their talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the game against Arsenal, Rooney may also not be in the game but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is wary of younsgter Marcus Rashford, who helped demolished Arsenal last term.
Wenger, who was speaking in a press conference ahead of the game, was asked if the absence of the veteran striker will aid his efforts to win the fixture, to which he answered:
‘Lets not forget that last year, the guy who killed us was Rashford.’
The 19-year-old striker ‘killed’ Arsenal the last time the two sides met, the youngster finding the net twice in two first half minutes as the Red Devils went on to secure a 3-2 victory over Wenger’s side.
The brace against Arsenal came in Rashford’s first ever Premier League fixture, just three days after his miraculous debut for the club against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
The youngster has been a bit-part player for United this term but uncertainty over Rooney and Mkhitaryan means the winger could be handed a start against familiar foes Arsenal.
