The battle for supremacy in London continues tomorrow and Arsenal currently have the psychological edge given the current form of our players.
Tottenham star Ben Davies is in the claim that Arsenal are in for a tough game despite the relative poor form of his side.
Although the are yet to lose a Premier League game, Tottenham have failed to win any of their last six games and their latest game was a Champions League defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Arsenal have been reveling in the ambiance for form, unbeaten in the last 15 games.
While Tottenham are in a tricky spell, Davies insists they won’t roll over at the Emirates this weekend.
“We have to be ready for what they’re going to throw at us but on the other hand they’re not going to see it as an easy game either,” he told the club’s official website.
“If we win on Sunday it’ll give us all a big boost going into the international break.
“We’re a confident group, we’ve shown we can put good performances in against any team and Sunday is going to be no different.”
Mauricio Pochettino described Tottenham’s performance against Leverkusen as ’embarrassing’ while Hugo Lloris admitted the side couldn’t be a worse position ahead of the derby.
Davies is not sure why Spurs are finding the going so tough at the moment but says they will be ready to face Arsenal.
