Reigning at the helms of Arsenal for the last two decades, Arsene Wenger has exhibited commitment, professionalism and consistency.
Arsenal held the annual Annual General Meeting yesterday and majority share holder Stan Kroenke has praised the French tactician Arsene Wenger for how he has handled the club thus far.
Wenger market his 20th anniversary recently and he was presented with a portrait that features 210 players he has selected to represent his club at his time.
When presenting the Portrait, Kroenke revealed that Wenger was a key factor in the decision that led to buying Arsenal.
The US billionaire continued to sing Wenger’s praises but added pressure when saying he’d love to see the Gunners lift the Premier League title this season.
He said: “Arsene you’ve always shown commitment, dedication and energy and you brought a new style to English football and our club.
“Also in a world of great scrutiny and pressure you’ve always handled yourself with class.
“We have a great club and are very excited about this season.
“We know we will compete for trophies and always have and would like nothing better than to see you win the championship this year.”
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis added: “We all recognise the fantastic contribution Arsene has made to club in last 20 years.”
