In what has been dubbed as a super Saturday crunch game, Old Trafford will be alighted by renewed Manchester United vs Arsenal hostility but there is no telling who’ll end up winner despite Arsenal enjoying a better form this term.
Manchester United winger Juan Mata has revealed that they are always closer to victory whenever they play Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger has never defeated Jose Mourinho in the Premier League but the Portuguese tactician will be under more pressure given that his team has struggled this term and are six point adrift of Arsenal in fourth position.
Jose Mourinho watched his Manchester United side secure a 3-1 win over Swansea last time out but the Red Devils still trail Premier League leaders Liverpool by eight points after 11 games.
Writing in his personal blog, Mata said:
“All the players from Manchester United will go back home to get ready for a frenetic second half of November: four games in Old Trafford.
“The team is eager to find a good streak and after defeating Swansea we are looking forward to playing Arsenal at the weekend.
“We want to give our best and a good atmosphere at the stadium, as always when we play against Arsenal, can take us one step closer to the victory.
“The top end of the Premier League table is very tight and we are going to work hard to keep a good streak and approach those top spots.”
Manchester United finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal last season.
