Shocking! “I want to leave” – Wenger’s favorite hands in transfer request

The winter transfer window presents an opportunity for teams to bolster their teams for the second and most important part of the season.

According to latest reports, Mathieu Debuchy has asked to leave Arsenal on a permanent basis.

Debuchy has been plagued by injuries since signing from Newcastle for £12million in 2014.

The defender fell below Hector Bellerin in the pecking order last term and was loaned to Bordeaux in the winter transfer window.

He was linked with a move away from the Emirates during the summer but got injured and had to say put at the Emirates.

But Debuchy wants a new challenge entirely and is keen to move when the transfer window reopens next month.

“I want a new challenge,” Debuchy told French newspaper L’Equipe.

“I told my agent to come back to me if there was anything concrete.

“I miss not having that excitement, the adrenaline.

“I would prefer a permanent transfer but I’m under contract. If the club says no, what can I do?”

Debuchy is not the only first-team start that could be on the move next month.
