Barcelona have been given a boost as they look to bring back their academy graduate from Arsenal.
But Bellerin will not publicly force a move and will not submit a transfer request.
Bellerin, 22, is said to be crazy about securing a move back to Barcelona and has privately committed to returning, according to Spanish publication Diario Gol.
Barcelona have made Bellerin their top defensive target this summer as they look to finally land a long-term replacement for Dani Alves, who left the club last summer.
Bellerin has developed into one of the top full-backs in world football at Arsenal after moving from Barcelona in 2011.
And the Catalan side will now ramp up their interest with another bid – although he will be expected to take a wage cut if he wants to seal a return.
The defender briefly lost his place in the Arsenal side after Arsene Wenger switched to a back three at the end of the season, but returned for the FA Cup final.
With Arsenal missing out on the top four – and a place in the Champions League – Bellerin would like to move on this summer, but after signing a new long-term deal he is in a tough place.
And, having been given a chance to blossom at Arsenal, he is not willing to ruin his relationship with the club and fans by forcing a move in public.
However it is believed he has told Wenger he’d like the chance to return home, although the Frenchman remains insistent on him staying.
