Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is uncomfortable with one thing that he’s been asked by Arsene Wenger to do.
Sanchez is revered at Arsenal not just for his goal scoring prowess but also for being one of the hardest working players in the Premier League.
The Chilean hardly get rested for Arsenal and Chile.
Still, Sanchez insists that is one of his favourite aspects of the game, particularly in England where the level of football is so demanding.
‘The truth is that football here delights me,’ Sanchez told ESPN Brasil. ‘To go and go back, to attack, defend, attack, defend. We like it and it’s also good to watch.’
In fact, Sanchez is such a fan of working hard on the football pitch that he says he doesn’t like it when Wenger tells him to rest.
‘He told me to rest, but I don’t like to rest,’ the former Barcelona man added. ‘Neither in the matches. I don’t like to be out, I get upset, I go home sad, because I train to play, I rest to play.
‘It’s my job and I do everything to perform at 100%.’
