Wenger’s Future at Arsenal in Doubt
We expect to see a lot of shake off in the team of Arsenal next terms and this has to be done if Arsene Wenger wants to challenge for any title and that’s if Wenger himself is still the manager of the club at the end of the current season.
We have a bet on Wenger leaving the club this season and our sports betting strategy is based on the fact that Arsenal have not done well so far this season and with Bayern standing in their way in the Champions League there is a big chance that the Gunners will crash out at the second round once again and if that happens, Wenger is very likely to leave Arsenal once his contract expires at the end of this season. Wenger has so far refused to sign a new contract with the club despite he himself confirming the club has made him an offer of a new two years contract.
Defender Puts in Transfer request
Kristopher da Graca has admitted that he could leave Arsenal this summer however he hasn’t left just yet and will remain at the club for the rest of the season.
During the transfer window there were reports that da Graca was on trial with Newcastle United after being told he could leave Arsenal but it seems these reports were not accurate.
The Swedish youngster is still however keen on leaving Arsenal should he continue not to get z chance to play for the first team and will have the opportunity to do so once the summer transfer window officially opens on July 1. Whether the club will however him to go permanently or on loan is what remains to be seen.
Da Graca is highly rated and reportedly coveted by some of the top clubs across Europe. He signed a professional deal with Arsenal in January, 2015, but his progress has been slowed somewhat by a knee problem.
A Swedish youth international, the centreback will no doubt be keen to take the next step up in his career. Whether that will be at Arsenal or not, we will find out in the summer. And should he leave, it will be a big blow to the reserves but not so much to the first team. Thing is with Mertesacker, Rob Holding, Gabriel Paulista, Koscielny, Mustafi and Chambers at the club, Arsenal’s first team is not crying for someone like Da Graca. Which in fairness could mean the youngster being forced to leave the club at the first given opportunity.
