ARSENAL defender Shkodran Mustafi believes his team-mates need to have better concentration if they want to win football matches.
Arsenal drew 2-2 with Chelsea in an enthralling London derby at the Emirates last night.
Jack Wilshere had given the Gunners a second-half lead but they were pegged back quickly when Hector Bellerin brought down Eden Hazard in the box.
With the score 2-1 to Chelsea, Bellerin redeemed himself with a well-taken equaliser in stoppage time.
However, Arsenal came narrowly close to throwing away a point when Alvaro Morata raced through but the Spain striker could only shoot at goalkeeper Petr Cech and from the rebound, Davide Zappacosta’s shot struck the crossbar.
And Mustafi feels Arsenal were guilty not being focused enough to get the job done.
He said: “I think we’ve done well at home, but in the Premier League it’s not enough only to do the job at home.
“You have to concentrate on doing it away as well, I think it’s something that gets a little in your head, we play at home and everything is easier, we play away it’s harder and at the end of the day it’s a 90-minute football game so we have to concentrate.
“I think that’s what we have to do, even when we play away from home it’s a game like every other game.
“I think today it was not about our injuries, it was a big game and the split seconds where we should have been more concentrated we weren’t.
“We got punished but I think at the end of the day we deserved more.”
