Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi ignited a feud between him and Arsene Wenger when he claimed Alexis Sanchez is 100% percent fit and their row is set to continue this evening when Chile play against Uruguay.
Despite training with his right thigh heavily bandaged due to a hamstring tear, the Arsenal forward is 100% fit to play in the match, according to Chile coach Juan Antonio Pizzi.
Arsene Wenger had warned Pizzi of not risking Sanchez but he shoved Wenger advice with his claims that he is no way risking the Chilean forward.
Ahead of the match, Sanchez posted an update to supporters with the inspirational message: ‘I love to see other people happy and succeed. Life is a journey, not a race.’
But Arsenal fans are only after one thing – their star forward returning to north London in one piece…
@Alexis_Sanchez if you play for Chile something bad might happen to your dogs, don't risk it
