Arsenal is reportedly in battle with three other suitors of Ricardo Rodriguez with Real Madrid and Roma all interested in the Wolfsburg star.
According to Swiss newspaper Blick, the Gunners are in the running to sign the Switzerland left-back Ricardo Rodriguez.
Should Ricardo Rodriguez eventually make the move to Arsenal, he would link-up with his national team mate Granit Xhaka, who signed for Arsenal earlier this transfer window.
Ricardo, 23, is rumored to have informed his current club Wolfsburg that he does not intend to play for the German side next season, so it now remains to be seen where he will go.
I believe Arsenal needs this young defender to replace Gibbs who is said to be heading out of the Emirates, and the ageing Monreal.
Clubs interested in signing the 23 year old defender will have to cough out a fee of around 20 million pounds to convince Wolfsburg to sell.
Rodriguez Started his playing career at home club FC Zurich, before joining German side VFL Wolfsburg in a £7.5m deal back in 2012.
He has represented his Nation Switzerland 37 times and is set to add to them during Euro 2016, where he is currently representing his country.
