Arsenal are set to re-sign Wellington Silva – then ship him straight out to France.
The Gunners first brought the Brazilian attacker to north London in 2010 when they snapped him up from Fluminese in 2010.
But he then spent the next five years out on loan due to work permit issues, before finally being cleared to play in England for the start of the 2015/16 season.
He joined Bolton on a season long loan in August, scoring twice, before Arsenal agreed to sell him back to Fluminese on a permanent basis in July 2016.
Silva has gone on to enjoy a fine season with the Brazilian side, scoring seven goals, and has once again caught the attention of European scouts.
Bordeaux have now made a move for the 24-year-old and so Arsenal have activated a buy-back clause they had included in the deal they agreed when they sold the forward to Fluminense last year.
