Arsenal defeated Stoke City 3-1 at the Emirates earlier today in a match that saw Arsenal’s new record signing Mesut Ozil creating all the 3 goals from set Pieces. The first goal was scored by on form Aaron Ramsey. While Per Mertesacker and Sagna got the last 2 goals. However, it was neither Ozil or any of the goal scorers that got the man of the match gong, instead Flamini was awarded the man of the match after the final whistle was blown.
Flamini enough all Stoke’s attacking forary into Arsenal’s half was stopped. He not only broke Stoke’s attacking move into Arsenal’s half, he also every now and then dropped down to the fence to help.
