Arsenal have once again announced a new signing through a quiz, with Sead Kolasinac’s arrival from Schalke confirmed in a sneaky tweet by the club this morning.
The Bosnian left-back joins on a free from Schalke after months of speculation suggesting he was on his way to the Emirates Stadium, and his arrival has now been confirmed.
However, it may have taken one or two eagle-eyed fans to spot the announcement, as it was hidden in a pretend quiz by Arsenal’s Twitter account.
Listing nine players, the tweet called on fans to spot ten players signed by Arsene Wenger during his time at the club, with the list of nine spelling out Kolasinac as the tenth.
This was then followed up by an introductory video from the man himself, who greeted the fans with: ‘That’s right, it’s me. Come on Arsenal!’
Kolasinac’s contract at Schalke had expired, leading to rumoured interest from the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and AC Milan as well as Arsenal
