The Gunners have had bids of £30 million and £40m turned down by the French champions, but that has not put Wenger off.
Now The Daily Mail is reporting that Arsenal officials believe their next offer, thought to be around £45m, will be enough to finally land the 21–year-old France international, who made 41 appearances in all competitions for Monaco last season, scoring 14 goals and providing the same number of assists.
Chelsea are favourites to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubamayang, claims The Mail, after Chinese side Tianjin Quanjin pulled out of a move for the Gabon forward, although AC Milan remain interested.
