Arsenal are now level on points with League leaders Manchester City on the Premier League log – thanks to goals from in-form Theo Walcott and birthday boy Mesut Ozil.
We have now won six games in a role and are now bookies favourite for the Premier League this term. However, Granit Xhaka picked up a nasty red card which almost cost us the three points.
Instead of chasing the ball, Xhaka got the leg of Modou Borrow who was heading for a kill and he was shown a straight card by referee Jonathan Moss – much the frustration of Wenger and all supporters.
A lot of fans are pleased with his performance but his tackle was the lowest point of his game. Speaking after the game, Arsene Wenger claims the decision of referee Jonathan Moss was wrong.
Nonetheless, Xhaka has taken to his Instagram page to post the following message and picture.
“Three very important points today and I’m proud of my team and thanks to the fans for their massive support. @underarmour #GX29#SlayTheNextGiant#Underamour”
Xhaka would probably have regretted if we lost the game after he was sent off. Nonetheless, he has to be mindful of his tackles.
