One thing Arsenal have done very well in the past is that they have identified talents and nurtured them into star players.
Marcelo Allende has been pictured training with Arsenal‘s first-team stars amid speculation he is set to move to the Emirates.
The 17-year-old Chilean midfielder, who came through the ranks at Alexis Sanchez’s former club Cobreloa, has been linked with the Gunners for over a year.
It’s understood Allende has flown to north London for three separate trials with Arsenal but it’s unclear whether he’s signed for Arsene Wenger’s side just yet.
However, ahead of the side’s trip to face Liverpool in the Premier League, the Chile Under-17 starlet was spotted at the club’s London Colney training ground.
The highly-rated teenager was seen testing himself alongside the likes of Sanchez, Granit Xhaka and Alex Iwobi.
Back February 2016, Allende’s agent Christian Ogalde said: ‘I have a relationship with many European clubs including Arsenal and, another club, so if tomorrow there are options, we’ll talk.
‘Arsenal is a great training club and we would be interested in working with them if they give us the possibility to.’
