For those that had lost the hope that Arsenal will not bolster the squad before the close of the window, I’m sure they are basking in excitement about Arsenal’s new signings.
Arsenal completed the signing of Mustafi and Perez, although it is subject to an announcement by Arsenal.. This has succeeded in silencing Arsene Wenger critiques over been slothful in the market.
Nonetheless, Valencia coaching Ayestaran had claimed earlier this month that Mustafi would not be sold but Arsenal’s improved offer persuaded the La Liga giants to cash in.
“Circumstances change depending on the offers we receive and the circumstances of the club,” Ayestaran said at a press conference.
“A few weeks ago, [Arsenal’s] offer wasn’t good enough, but now other circumstances exist because their offer is [good enough] and, from there, we believe that we have a suitable replacement [lined up].
“t’s simple. I’m sure [the club] will deliver make signings.
“The project will be good or bad depending on who we have here. Those who aren’t here, aren’t here, but we have a good team and good foundations.”
Mustafi has been on the radar of Arsenal beginning this summer but will be unveiled as an Arsenal player on Monday.
