The battle for football supremacy in London is about 48hours to kick-0ff and Arsenal have been handed a boost with the return of another key player.
Defender Nacho Monreal, who missed two of Arsenal’s most previous games due to a thigh injury has hinted that he is ready to face Tottenham this Sunday.
Speaking ahead of the game at his press conferenc, Arsene Wenger revealed that he could be without five players, with Kieran Gibbs, Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott, Hector Bellerin and Monreal all ‘uncertainties’.
Nonetheless, Monreal and Bellerin were pictured in training at London Colney yesterday and this has only given Gunner fans hope that our best defensive quartet will feature against the Lilywhytes.
And, after the training session, Monreal took to Instagram to declare that he’s excited ahead of the much-anticipated clash.
‘Good feeling training today !! Looking forward the derby,’ the Spanish left-back told his followers.
England speedster Walcott has the biggest chance of playing from Wenger’s list of uncertainties after picking up a hamstring problem.
