He’s still got his old colours
Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been spotted wearing Arsenal merchandise weeks after leaving the Emirates for Anfield in the final days of the summer transfer window.
The England international was snapped on Instagram in a pair of joggers bearing the official logo of his former club.
He left the Gunners on August 31 in a £35million deal and has had a slow start to life on Merseyside.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has hesitated to throw the 24-year-old into his starting line-up and he has often been left on the bench.
Despite leaving Arsenal in search of a regular spot in central midfield he has continued to play out wide for the Reds.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has previously named former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard as his role model and a player whose footsteps he wishes to follow as a midfielder.
However, in an image posted by his partner on Instagram, the former Arsenal wing-back is clearly still happy to be seen in the colours of his former team.
