Arsenal have been able to secure their first three point of the season after a comfortable 3-1 Cruz against Watford City.
North London club, Arsenal have given Tomas Rosicky to permission to train with team as the midfielder steps up his recovery from a thigh injury.
Rosicky left Arsenal at the end of last campaign after ten injury-ravaged seasons at the Emirates. He, however, managed to over his injury issues as he featured for Czech at the European Championships but sustained a thigh injury in his country’s 2-2 draw against Croatia.
The 35-year old has since been linked with a transfer to former side Sparta Prague, but his injury problems mean he is finding it hard to get a new club.
Now, Arsene Wenger has allowed Rosicky to come back to Arsenal to train as he recovers from his injury. The likes of Robert Pires and Fredrik Ljunberg were allowed to train with the club after leaving and now, Rosicky is next as the Czech midfielder was spotted in training alongside Arsenal players yesterday.
The Gunners tackle Watford later today and Wenger will be looking to lead his side to victory in order to put their campaign back on track. Arsenal will also be boosted with the imminent arrivals of Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi.
