Even before the season gets into full swing, Arsenal stars have already started picking up injuries, leaving up to five first team player banjaxed.
In the shock defeat to Liverpool yesterday, Ramsey and Iwobi picked up injuries with the former ruled out of action for up to six weeks.
According to reports making the rounds, Arsenal have made an offer for Gabon international and Juventus central midfielder Mario Lemina.
The 22-year-old joined the Old Lady in the summer of 2015 on a loan deal but after impressing, the Scudetto holders have made the deal permanent for the youngster.
The former Marseille Midfielder has been a subject of attraction for Liverpool, Southampton and West Ham United but Arsenal have now made a €16 Milliion offer for the player. Juventus are said to have rejected the bid but are holding out for €20 Million which is within Arsenal’s reach.
The versatile midfielder is able to play in a number of positions, having featured at centre-back, central midfield, as well as at full-back and on the wings, and would come as a great squad member to have available, especially with the injuries regularly picked up at the Emirates.
Arsenal are very active in the transfer market with a deal said to be in the offing for Mustafi. However, it is believed that Debuchy could be on his way out of the Emirates and a deal for Lemina would mean he would replace the French right back.
Lamina, like Aubameyang, is tipped to be the next star for Gabon.
