Ospina reveals why he cannot be left on the bench for Cech in the Champions League

Arsenal Champions League goalkeeper David Ospina has revealed that he is ready for the game against PSG tonight and that he will give his all in the game.

The Colombian has become our Champions League goalkeeper this season, with Petr Cech taking the Premier League games, and a lot of this is down to Dave’s solid performance against PSG in our opening European game of the season.

His prowess in-between the sticks has never been in doubt as he pulled several brilliant saves in Arsenal’s unbeaten run in the Champions League this term.

Although Ospina admits that every game is different, he does plan on giving his all during this match in order for Arsenal to finish above PSG at the top of the group.

“Yes, of course [I am proud of that display],” Ospina said.
“Every match is different, though. We know we are facing a quality side on Wednesday, with very well-known players, so we have to do our job. We want to finish top of the group.
“We prepare ourselves to be fit and ready for every match in every competition, and when the coach picks you we want to show what we can do. I really want to give my all for Arsenal.”
Ospina has made 39 appearances since joining in 2014, which is actually pretty good going if you think about how often he appears to not play.
