Arsenal are currently sitting in 4th position on the Premier League log after five matches, and the team have been tipped to end the season on a high.
Talking about youngsters with prospect, Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi is one of the most highly rated youngsters in the Premier League and Arsene Wenger has been full of praise for the youngster but wants him to not to be distracted by the frenzy in the media.
Wenger has revealed that he wants Alex Iwobi to keep his humility for him to continue prospering as a player. Iwobi was unlucky not to score against Hull City last weekend after his shot was deflected by Alexis Sanchez. Nonetheless, he ended the game with two assist.
Iwobi has been rated more than Chamberlain and Walcott and he has already earned call up to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Wenger said of him.
“Yes, he had a good performance, and you want him to improve,” the manager told Arsenal official website.
“He is 20 years old, and I think he has talent, he has ambition, he has a big passion for the game and until now he has humility. We have to take care that he keeps that quality, because it’s an important one.
“But he has gained confidence and power. I believe as well he has a good combination between quick passing, picking players out and running with the ball. He gets that balance right, until now, and that’s not easy.”
But for his weakness in defending, Iwobi seem a great player but we hope in continues to improve every aspect of his game.
