Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger made it clear before the opening of the January transfer window that he’ll be less bust as he is satisfied with his squad.
Nonetheless, given the redundancy of the players, you expect them to be exited from the Emirates.
According to reports, Arsene Wenger has given the green light for Mathieu Debuchy to leave Arsenal.
Hector Bellerin is the club’s first-choice right-back and centre-back Gabriel moved across to the position when the Spaniard was crocked earlier this year.
That’s left Debuchy and fellow full-back Carl Jenkinson kicking their heels.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed Debuchy can leave Arsenal too.
“The door is not definitely closed, but it depends on the quality of the opportunities he will have,” the Gunners boss said yesterday.
Debuchy has made just one appearance for the club this term.
He started against Bournemouth in November, but lasted just 16 minutes before coming off injury.
The 31-year-old spent the second-half of last season on loan at Bordeaux.
